GETTING THERE

From O. R. Tambo International Airport, take the R21 towards Pretoria and at the intersection head north on the N1 towards Polokwane and the N4 Toll Road.

Once past Pretoria, turn onto the N4 Toll Road towards Rustenburg, Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust.

Please stay on the N4 and do not follow GPS alternative routes, as these may direct you onto gravel roads that are poorly signposted.

Please approach Motswiri Private Safari Lodge from the main Zeerust/Gaborone road (R49) and enter through Wonderboom Gate.

Do not approach from the Sun City side of the reserve or attempt to enter via Moletedi Gate, as this route is significantly longer and can be confusing to navigate.

Once in Zeerust, turn right at the 4th stop street into President Street. There is a signpost on the left indicating “Madikwe Game Reserve/Gaborone” and an ABSA Bank on the corner.

Follow the R49 (occasionally marked as the R47) towards the reserve for approximately 91 km.

The first entrance to the reserve is Abjaterskop Gate.

Continue past this gate and enter through Wonderboom Gate, located exactly 7 km further on your right-hand side.

CHILDREN’S POLICY

• Children of all ages are welcome at our lodge
• Children younger than 5 years are not permitted on game drives
• Children sharing room with parents pay 50%
• Children in own room are charged full price
• Child policy applies to children between the ages of 5 to 14 years
• No charge for children 0 to 4 years
