LUXURY SUITES

The spacious Luxury Suites each accommodate two guests in either king or twin configurations. Every suite features a generously appointed en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and a private viewing deck overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

Each suite also offers an enhanced in-room beverage selection, including a coffee machine and a fully stocked minibar for added comfort and convenience.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY SUITES

Two of the Luxury Suites are family-friendly and can accommodate up to two rollaway beds, making them ideal for families with children under the age of 12.

These suites comfortably sleep up to four guests and feature the same facilities and amenities as the standard Luxury Suites.

 

FACILITIES

The main lodge is spectacularly located on two tiers of the ridge, accessed via a wooden bridge that crosses a ravine surrounded by rock figs. Each of the living areas has its own character, mood and style providing guests with a choice of breathtaking views and tranquil spaces. The lodge has reception, dining, lounge, upper and lower deck and swimming pool areas.

ACTIVITIES

Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge offers a number of activities that allow guests to take advantage of the tremendous diversity of fauna and flora in Madikwe. These activities include open vehicle game drives, stargazing, bush dining, and birding. On game drives, well-trained and informative rangers, who gladly share their extensive knowledge with you whilst on safari, accompany guests.

DIRECTIONS FROM OR TAMBO

 

  1. Exit O.R. Tambo International Airport and take the R21 toward Pretoria.
  2. At the junction with the N1 North, take the N1 toward Polokwane.
  3. Continue north on the N1 until reaching the N4 Toll Road West.

Important:
Do NOT take the N4 East toward Emalahleni / Nelspruit.

  1. Take the N4 West toward:
  • Rustenburg
  • Swartruggens
  • Groot Marico
  • Zeerust
  1. Remain on the N4 until you reach Zeerust.
  2. In Zeerust, turn RIGHT at the fourth stop street into President Street.

You will see:

  • An ABSA Bank on the corner
  • A signpost reading “Madikwe Game Reserve / Gaborone”
  1. Follow the R49 toward Gaborone for approximately 90km.
  2. You will first pass Abjaterskop Gate.

Continue past this gate and enter the reserve through the next entrance — Wonderboom Gate — located exactly 7km further.

  1. Once inside the reserve, follow the lodge signage.

The lodge is approximately 8km from the gate.

Please drive carefully inside the reserve and adhere to all speed limits.
